Research Interests

Allison Yeh’s current research involves the project of PDT dosimetry in cancer research; integrated detection and ablation of Barrett's esophageal cell lines, mainly using fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy and multiphoton microscopy. She is also interested other microscopic applications and computational design preferably with a focus on the applications of nano probes, in vivo imaging, and FLIM analysis. Some fields in biophotonics are particularly interesting to her; namely in the area of in vivo drug dosimetry; nanoparticles for molecular imaging and therapy, and clinical-involved cancer research.

Research projects

Allison's main academic interests include:

  • Characterization of the fluorescence lifetimes of PDT photosensitizers
  • Real-Time Dosimetry of PDT
  • 5-ALA based detection and laser ablation of Barrett's esophagus
