Quick Guide for Faculty

In order to get started with Avenue to Learn, you will need to complete the following steps:

1. Activate your MacID If you do not already have your MacID activated, please do this before you login to Avenue. You can activate your MacID here: https://apps.mcmaster.ca/activation/readme.jsp If you do not have a MacID, please contact UTS at uts@mcmaster.ca or by phone at 905-525-9140 x23457.

2. Request your course by completing the following form: http://avenue.mcmaster.ca/course/course_request_check.php

3. Login with your MacID and password at http://avenue.mcmaster.ca/

4. Create your course content and set up your tools There are many online articles to help you set up and create your course content. Please visit our e-Support site at http://avenue.mcmaster.ca/help/

5. Activate your course You can activate your course by following these instructions: http://avenue.mcmaster.ca/help/docs/activate_a_course.pdf If you require additional support, please fill out the following form: http://avenue.mcmaster.ca/help/forms/form-ticketsubmit.html or you can e-mail us at support.avenue@cll.mcmaster.ca
